President Donald Trump has instituted Project Freedom, a humanitarian plan in which the U.S. sees ships from neutral nations safely out of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has blocked such vessels from exiting the strait.

“Countries from all over the World, almost all of which are not involved in the Middle Eastern dispute… have asked the United States if we could help free up their Ships, which are locked up in the Strait of Hormuz,“ President Trump stated. “For the good of Iran, the Middle East, and the United States, we have told these Countries that we will guide their Ships safely out of these restricted Waterways, so that they can freely and ably get on with their business.“
U.S. Central Command reported on Monday, “U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers are currently operating in the Arabian Gulf after transiting the Strait of Hormuz in support of Project Freedom. American forces are actively assisting efforts to restore transit for commercial shipping. As a first step, 2 U.S.-flagged merchant vessels have successfully transited through the Strait of Hormuz and are safely headed on their journey.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump as he oversees the implementation of humanitarian policies.
- For Admiral Cooper as he manages the U.S. Central Command’s military operations in the Middle East.
- For the Lord’s protection over the U.S. troops stationed in harm’s way around the globe, and particularly in the vicinity of Iran.
